Science topics for EOYs!

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

HELLO EVERYONE.
How was the past few papers? :B

We're done with 6 components and there's another 6 more!!
By the end of this week we're not gonna study any more! WOOHOO.
And 'cos tomorrow's our Science paper, let's all study really hard and do Ms Chan, Mr Cheng and Mr Ho proud man! Beat the other Express classes for number of passes/quality passes once more alright! :D

Here's the list of topics you gotta study for Science:

Chemistry
- Kinetic Particle Theory
- Purification and Separation
- Elements, Compounds and Mixtures
- Atomic Structure
- Ionic Bonding
- Covalent and Metallic Bonding
- The Periodic Table

Biology
- Photosynthesis
- Respiration
- Transport in Living Things
- Digestion in Human Beings
- Reproduction in Human Beings
- Birth Control and Sexually Transmitted Infections
- Genetic Blueprint of Life

Physics
- Energy
- Light
- Electricity
- Using Electricity
- Sec 1 tested topics
  • Measuring Length, Area and Volume
  • Mass and Density
  • Force and Pressure
  • Work - A Product of Force and Distance

Credits goes to Huixin for sharing with us the topics tested and Huixiu who forwarded an sms (twice) with all the topics in them too! :B
Okay I'm not sure if some of the Sec 1 topics really do apply or not because I didn't see what was written on the board that day. Or jotted it down.
So, anyone who thinks there's an error above or something please edit this post. :/

And, I just realised that our Sec 1 Science textbooks has our Chemistry topics inside as well! O:
Anyway, Chemistry topics can be found in either your GCE 'O' Level Chemistry Matters textbook or your Sec 1 Interactive Science textbook.
Physics and Biology topics can be found in either your Sec 2 Lower Secondary Science Matters (Volume B) textbook or Sec 1 Interactive Science textbook.
Hope this makes your search for revision notes faster. :D

Oh, and last but not least, GOOD LUCK FOR THE SCIENCE PAPERS TOMORROW!
Let's all do well alright!
2/2 FTW.
